- Key reasons you joined and what was the biggest incentive for you to join

It is a fabulous concept and I have been onboard since Sales Staff Australia's Licensee inception.  I initially worked for Sales Staff Australia as a paid employee but as soon as the MD floated the ‘Licensee’ idea to our staff – we all couldn’t wait to start our own businesses.

The management and support staff are easy to access, very approachable and full of great advice on how to manage and grow your recruitment business.  The team at SSA offer great support and if you listen to the advice offered – the only person holding you back from living the life you have always wanted is YOU.

Ongoing training is excellent, advice is at your fingertips via the Online Training Library.  We have access to all major job boards and a candidate database that numbers in the tens of thousands.  Our access to technology is the best on offer.

- What you enjoy the most about this model ?

I delight in the fact that I can run my business from home and still have the branding and backup of a nationally recognised Recruitment Company.  I choose how much income I produce every month – I am totally in control.

-  The successes you have had since joining

The successes that I have attained have not only been of a financial source but a total balance of work / life.  I am home for my child when he goes to school in the morning and home when he arrives at home at night.  I no longer have to fight the traffic into St Kilda every morning – sometimes taking up to and hour and a half to get there – not to mention the debacle on the way home of an evening.  I am well rested when I start work in the morning and am able to exercise every lunchtime without coming back to the office looking like I have just run a marathon.

I say to everyone who asks me what I do for a living – I have the best job in the world where I get to speak to people all day everyday, help change people’s lives for the better and as a bonus – I get to hang out with my dog all day – life couldn’t be better.  I absolutely love my work, my clients and the Company I work for  - why would I want to work anywhere else?

I can run my own business without the major cost of a normal business such as staff, office lease etc yet I still receive a good level of support. I can take my business anywhere in then world and still function with 100% capability.

What I most enjoy is the freedom the model provides.

Success comes in many forms, more time with family, less travel as home is now the office, freedom, more travel and I have been lucky enough to make a few bucks to pay the bills along the way.

I saw Sales Staff Australia as a key opportunity for me to use my current skills and develop new ones in such a productive way which will lead to my own thriving business, as well as financial security for myself and my family. With the relevant experience I possess, a little self confidence and motivation as well as the excellent level of support from the support team, it wasn't a difficult decision for me to make.

As a newcomer to Sales Staff Australia, I have already begun to build a network of hirers nationally, these hirers will very soon turn to me and Sales Staff Australia as the best option for their recruitment needs. The future is very bright and I wonder why I didn't do this years earlier!
