This is a very traditional and formal office look. The knee-length black skirt is appropriate for any formal environment, and the jacket has detailing on the sleeves that keeps it looking fresh with out looking flashy. This skirt just grazes the knees, which is about as short as you want to go for an interview. We like the nude hose and black pumps with this outfit. Some small button earrings and a bracelet watch would finish the outfit nicely. Pair this with a rich chocolate or black briefcase/bag and you would look appropriate anywhere, from the hippest office to the most traditional.

This is a great outfit for executive and officer level interviews. The colors are classic and neutral yet rich, which makes this outfit appropriate year-round. The fabrics and tailoring are very upscale and luxurious. This ensemble strikes the perfect balance of being non-threatening yet powerful. Notice the knee length skirt; it is never appropriate to go any shorter in an interview. We would like to see this outfit worn with sheer cr譥-colored stockings and brown or taupe pumps.

This silhouette is a classic office look, with an A-line skirt and fitted top. This woman looks very put together. This outfit is extremely versatile in that it could be dressed down with a denim jacket and black boots, or dressed up with a beaded sweater and black pumps. The skirt has a nice cut which gives nice movement. Notice it's just covering the knee. We beseech you to never wear a skirt above the knees to an interview; it send the wrong message and looks unprofessional.

If you are confident that pants are appropriate for your interview, then we strongly suggest you wear them as part of a suit. Have no fear; women's suits have come a long way from the hyper-masculine lines of the 80's. This one, for example, is very feminine in both it's color and cut. The jacket can be worn open with a blouse underneath, or buttoned with a birghtly colored cami peaking out. The cut of the pants is a modern boot cut which adds flair without flash, which is exactly what you want. This color is bright and cheerful, without looking too cartoonish. The pink tone is a little dusty, which makes it appropriate for fall. We would pair this suit with chocolate heels and a rich chocolate blouse with some simple jewelry at the neckline. Perfect!
